The New Covenant Christian Church Ministries New Covenant is the "biggest small church" in the Cleveland area and is growing as God permits. You will see some ministries listed that are not active at this time, however w e are speaking the things that are not, as if they were. For we believe God to send those that have a true desire to work for the kingdom and fill the needs of these ministries. We patiently wait for those to heed the call. Spiritual Ministries Elder’s Board & Pulpit Staff: The members of the Elder's Board and Pulpit Staff consists of all those called by God as Ministers of the Gospel and serving with and under the leadership of Bishop Douglas H. Taylor, Sr. Pastor. These men and women of God have been called, anointed and are in receipt of credentials for a Licensed Minister or Ordained Elder. This ministry also includes assisting Bishop Taylor, Sr. Pastor in caring for and the feeding of New Covenant Christian Church as Bishop Taylor deems necessary. Deacons & Deaconess Board: The Deacons are chosen with the requirements set forth in the Word of God, to be appointed for the administration of the church. These are spiritually mature, godly men and women who are readily apt to minister the Word of God when appropriate. Intercessors (N3CI): These are the ones with a heart of prayer to intercede on behalf of the Bishop and his family, the leadership, members, our community and all that the Holy Spirit lays on their hearts. Mother's Board: Godly mature women who will use the wisdom of God to mentor, guide and be an example to the younger women of the church. These women will assist the pulpit staff were necessary. Outreach/Communication Ministries Media & Broadcast Ministry : The media ministry involves the recording, duplication and distribution of DVDs for media broadcasting. Other areas of distribution will be available as God gives us favor. Hospital & Nursing Home Ministry This ministry will minister to the sick, the shut-ins and nursing homes. Seeing to the member/resident’s christian companionship as well as their spiritual needs. Internet Ministry This website is more about ministry than about technology. They will be taught the Word of God, explain what God requires of them and how to live saved. They will be trained and allowed to participate in many areas of church services. To allow for a balanced life for our youth, there will be fun activities incorporated in the church events, and trips planned for their enjoyment. Men of Integrity : This ministry will include all the men of the New Covenant and those in the community that have a need to fellowship with other men. It is for the purpose of building character and teaching men to be the men God intended them to be. This ministry will address the many pressures and concerns that men of any age may face. New Members: This ministry is for those who are mature in the Word of God, compassionate, and know how to take the word and make it interesting and easy to understand. They are willing pray, counsel and help them to grow in the knowledge of God. This ministry is to help new members strive for a life change. From this class a mentorship will be developed. Sisters In Service: These have a deep and loving concern for their sisters in Christ. Sisters In Service provides a fellowship where women young and older can encourage each other without fear and condemnation. All the women of New Covenant should be a part of this ministry. Christian Education Sunday School: The ministry of the Sunday School provides Christ centered education at different levels of understanding to allow growth and spiritual development in the lives of the members. All members should actively participate in the Sunday School. It is here that questions and spiritual concerns are addressed. An organized curriculum is used by teachers trained in the Word of God. Prayer & Bible Study : This ministry of prayer is an opportunity for all members of NCCC to learn to stand humbling before the Lord and offer a concert of prayer. Following our time of prayer we have bible study. This walks you in the bible and provides understanding to scripture passages. "Study to show thyself approved unto God, rightly dividing the word of truth". It is in this class that we study the scriptures, so we may be an effective witness to others. Music Ministry NCCC Praise Team : These desire to praise the Lord and minister to the fellowship through songs. This is New Covenant’s primary choir. NCCC Praise Dancers: Through dance these show adoration and praise to the one and only "Almighty God". Minister of Music : Will oversee the Praise Team and all who minister in songs or instruments. The Minister of Music has a love for God’s Word and is devoted to helping all music ministries to be of excellence. To usher in the Spirit of God. Equipment & Sound Ministry : To know the configuration and able to monitor the sound system effectively. Responsible for the playing of all music tracks. Ministries of Service Administrative : Members who are gifted in administrative/office abilities. Knowledge of christian administrative protocol is helpful. Ability to efficiently use a computer for word processing & desktop publishing software is welcomed. Organizational skills are a plus. Teachable and willing workers a must.. Hospitality : This ministry is for those who truly have a desire to show God’s love and kindness to both visitors and those of New Covenant. Greeters & Ushers : They will greet all who enter the doors of New Covenant with a smile and the kindness of a child of God. The ushers are responsible to maintain order and ensure that reverence by all is given to God's house and to the things of God. Nurses Guild : This ministry is responsible for the physical well-being of the Bishop, clergy, and congregation. All those of this ministry will have godly devotion to care for the physical needs of all in the building. Church nurses are trained in basic first aid and CPR. Security : These will endeavor to protect the well being of New Covenant and its property. To ensure safe passage of members/visitors in and out of building. To always to watch and pray. Holy Ground Keepers: Will watch over and maintain the appearance of the church building as well as the surrounding property.
